Class Members: 4 - 10

16hrs

Price: Inquire for rates and availability.

In Part II, the actor works with other actors to create enriched performances. We look at what it means to talk to each other as Shakespearean characters. How to inhabit a mask while also remaining present.  How to understand what these characters are saying.

The actors will see that these scenes are, indeed, in English and not some alien language.

The actors will also learn how to have fun, interact with their actor partners, and the audience at the same time.

The actors will also learn how to make these scenes, some of them familiar, exciting and new.

They will also learn strategies on how to maintain stamina. Above all, the actor will learn about the importance of active listening and how to have fun.

(Techniques used Meyerhold, Brecht).
