PArt 2: The Mind of a Character

Summary: Over 18hrs, the artist will learn how to amalgamate the motivations of a character, ideas of the writer, and director in the initial experimentation with character. They will learn how to access voice and rhythm and how that might differ from their own natural tendencies.

Result: The artist will leave with a collection of tools to get over initial hesitancy in making the jump from the page to the stage. They will also leave with a greater understanding of scene work and interaction.
